RANDOM: (Stuff) A watermelon car

Although my life is not super exciting, I've decided to friend only. Comment to add.
TV: (SPN) Kneel Before Todd
Today I slept all day. Like pretty much literally slept all day. It's been pretty full on the last couple of weeks, with exams and...well really only exams. I finished Monday and went out with some people in the afternoon, and then yesterday we have a Geo picnic that started at 4 and kept going and going - so much fun!

And then today I woke up at lunchtime, which I'm perfectly fine with, it's my summer vacation but I don't really get that much vacation time since I woke in retail and Christmas is coming up, so sleep in? I'll take it. Anyways, woke up, pottered around a bit, went outside to sit in the sun in the hammock, fell asleep for about an hou. Woke up and realised that I was goignt o burn the crap out of myself so I came inside and fell! asleep! again! for 2 more hours and then finally dragged myself out of bed the eat some food that Loz made. Which was delicious.

Laziest day ever. Loved it.

Vacation=Love.

finished my last exam this morning, and it was a beautiful day here. Went to the waterfront had some drinks in the sun, tried not to get (more) sunburnt and contunied with success of Operation Wear More Dresses. Am a little drunk and PSYCHED to be on vacation.

Until Friday when I start work again.

Summer is on its way.

it was too pretty outside to study today.

TV: (FNL) Crusifixtorius
Had an exam this morning. It went well except I had 10 minutes to write my last essay which meant that is was a scrawly mess w/ a diagram at the top and a frantically dashed off "Ran out of time!" at the bottom of the page. Then went into town, swung by work, got some Maccas, headed home and fell into a comatose/nap. Woke up and started studying for my climatology exam which is in 9ish hours. Im going in on a Distinction and I want to do well since I want my Professor to be my advisor for my 3rd year research project next year, and I feel like if I eff up the exam I'm kind of taking the piss. Also it would be nice to get some sort of good mark since I SURE WONT GET ONE FROM GEO.

Found out today that a girl in our class waited for half an hour into the Geo exam - the minimum you are required to stay there for- and then bailed. Pretty sure she failed.

Despite the fact that I'd rather be watching FNL/sleeping/doing anything else, I'd better get back to the grind.

I continue to be crap at studying for my Environmental Management exam. Which is in 11.5 hours. I suuuuuuuuuuuuuck. It doesn't help that this class was terrible.

Instead I watched me some 90210. From which I get this: one of the 'teenagers' is clearly clearly at least 30 years old. Liam is cute. That Jen girl has an odd way of talking. Dixon attracts Teh Krazy. Navid is still my favourite. Annie is way more likeable when she is nowhere near any other main character. Is that Rumor "I get by on my talen and not my famous parents" Willis I spy there? I am claerly stupid to be watching this show.

Why do I want to be a geologist?

Argh I missed a day, sort of. But I'm still awake even though its after midnight so I'll take it as the 3rd.

Today I had my geology exam. At least half the class are sure they failed, which I really, really hope that I don't do. They don't repeat units every semester, so if you fail one you have to wait a year to do it again. AND my geology class is a pre-req for all third year geology units. I think I passed, but Im pretty sure that scholarship I went for has been lost before it was won. Unless the bell curve helps me. But you know, I'm stoked that I spent so much time studying for this exam and haven't really studied for the other three I have left. Awesome.
TV: (Firefly) The Man They Call Jane
Hmm. Tomorrow is my Geology exam. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I've also reached that point in study where I'm just kind of resigned. I tried - I just need to pass. I did get my Environmental Management report on water management and I got 74% which makes me pretty happy. I was really worried about it, since it was so long and in a format I hadn't done before and my teacher is completely craptastic when you ask him for help. So great. 74 is good.

That's it really. I studied all day - went into uni for a bit and saw the boys have started to grow their mo's for Movember. And they have decided to go with handelbars. It was like studying in the middle of a western. Im supposed to hang out with Ben tomorrow after the exam but I might just ditch that sucka and study for my Enviro exam which is on Thursday and I haven't done any study for since I've been in a black hole of geology. We shall see. Most likely I'll get home after my exam and fall asleep on the couch.

Anyways, back to VHMS deposits! w00t11!!

So my exams are here and it's a pretty stressful time.

But what I've found to be highly entertaining is by imagining tv shows that I watch (or mock) in a crossover...with Terminator. The one that I find the most entertaining is the Gossip Girl/Terminator crossover. For obvious reasons. The idea that a Terminator has been sent back into time in order to spy and report on Manhattans elite for reasons as yet unknown but obviously related to duh duh duuuuuh Judgement Day, amuses me a. lot.

But it gets even better if you roll with it. Say...if you think that someone importance to the resistance is one of the GG Crew. Who would it be? Serena? Nope. She's more the person that a story happens to than drives a story. Also I hear in the middle of a robert v. human war you'd have to wear outfits that didn't put your boobs out there and I hear Serena's not so down for that.

Nate? HAHA. Unless he's secretly been warned by his own time travelling metal protector to cover up his mad smarts and planning skills by pretneding to be as sharp as a bowling ball so that - nope. I can't even pretend that's true.

Chuck Bass? I love the Bass, but I don't know if he would survive say...walking with no shoes on let alone the coming war.

Dan? While I'm sure there is a need for over articulate, kind of judgy, smug, writers obsessed with their monetary worth in The Future, Im not sure if Dan wants to be there. It wouldnt' suprise me actually if Dan didn't even realise the Judgement Day so preoccupied was he with other more important things. Ditto for Vanessa.

Which means that it must be Blair! (I'm pretending that Jenny doesn't exist - a plan that works very well for me while watching the actual show and it's my mashup so I'll do what I want). Which I can see. Super organised. Scathing. Able to see the big picture, and organise a dinner party. For the most part pretty ruthless.

Which leads me to my favourite part of the Gossip Girl/Terminator crossover extravaganza. If there is an important member of the Resistance that needs to be protected - and I think we've established that Blair could kick a little arse, take a few names - then surely good ol' John Connor would have sent back a reprogrammed T-888 model to protect and guard and offer perhaps some relationship advice to B? And who would that be?

Dorota. For sure.

Do you see how far I'll go not to study? Fail at life.

Ok, so Hobart needs a little Blair Waldorf reminder that tights are not pants.

Also if it could work out that it's fucking summer already that would be good too.

God I am such an arse! I know that I'm working today, and yet I am incapable of going to bed a normal, reasonable time. So now I'm running on around 6 hours of sleep - despite being at my best on say...10 - and all of this could have been avoided if I had stopped tooling around last night and just gone to bed earlier!

On the other hand, I YouTubed the Merlin extras: Bradley James and Colin Morgan are so cute together! In real life! With the spider and the American voiceover at the end! I reccommend watching, at least this video, if not the series.

Gah! No Merlin Iconnage! Doctor Who will have to do.

Question.

Why is it that when I have an enormous amount of homework, I am at my very least amount of motivation?

All I want to do it eat nachos and watch Criminal Intent. Mainly becuase I have a think for skinny guys so I think Reid is cute. And because I am insanely unmotivated.
